Executive Summary: The attached zip is a working (I believe…) AS3 DateChooser.
This is a ‘paying it back’ (I hope) post for all the help I’ve gotten from Kirupa threads while trying to get AS3 to work. Please note that I do not pretend to be anything close to a competent AS3 coder. Indeed, I am a sloppy JavaScript/ActionScript2, getter-done, hack and have carried all of my bad habits into the painfully more structured world of AS3. I expect there are glaring inefficiencies and better ways to do things–please post improvements as you see fit–but it works & I’m moving on. This is my first post to Kirupa, I hope I am abiding by whatever rules there are and am in keeping with expected etiquette. ~ Gemütlichkeit
