Hello everyone!
It’s slowing becoming apparent to me that I just start getting my feet wet with AS3.
I’m working on a CD project in flash that I’m publishing as projector files. My CD must work on mac and pc.
I’m using the ‘externally loading swfs’ that I learned here on kirupa. This is written in AS2.
My problem is that there are links within my ‘main’ presentation file (that pulls the swfs into). I’ve included links that open files in the actual excel program using .bat files. Well, there is a piece of code I found to make my links compatible with windows AND macs. It’s a function script that will be able to tell whether the presentation is being ran on a pc or a mac but it’s written in AS3.
That being said, has anyone ever tried to convert the externally loading swfs tutorial here on kirapa into an AS3 version?
any questions or assistance with this is greatly appreciated!
I have one final resort to this all which is to just avoid that function script and code a pc version of the presetnation then a mac version of the prsentation but i thought i’d try to see if this would be quicker.
thanks!
