Asp page popup

I seem to be having the quirkiest problem with Flash in both netscape and IE. some days the asp page doesn’t pop up when talking to the database, but most days it does. Is there any kind of code I can add to make sure it doesn’t pop up but goes to a different page instead. It’s even popping up in a different window, not the same window as the movie. Any help would be appreciate. I know our students aren’t going to know they can close this page.
