Average income for a graphic designer?

so whats the average income for a graphic designer? i moved to portland about 4 months ago and have been working at my job for almost 3 months now. i was promised a fat raise (basically double what i was hired at) and got nothing when it came down to it. so im looking for some info that i can use when i talk to my boss again…
