Hello all. This seems to be irritating the heck out of me so thought I’d pop by and ask if anybody can give me an answer.
Let’s say I create a Background Image for my Flash Movie at 800 x 600 pixels. I make sure my Flash movie is set to 800 x 600 as well.
However, what seems to happen is that if I set the background in the Flash Movie to a highly visible green for example, to see if my background image is centered or aligned properly over the movie, I sometimes notice that it is off by 1 or 2 pixels. Yet my graphic size and movie size are the same. I can confirm this when I Test Movie or open the movie in Safari or Explorer.
Is this a bug? Is it the JPEG compression settings? Or is there something I’m not doing correctly?
Much thanks.
CK
I zoomed into the background and then made sure to set the alignment on the background images to register at X=0.0 and Y=0.0. Turns out it the registration for some of the background images were 0.6 and 0.8 and similar resulting in the images being off.
