Background

guys. i know this may sound really dumb. but. how do i make an image my background for flash… lets say i made sumtin from a photo prog. how do i make that my bg for flash.

i tried to copy and paste it there and then just resized it to fit the flash document. but then , the image does not come out clear.

you do need to import a pic to a frame/layer, but as with any bitmap, there will be distortion if you stretch it. also, hit F11 and right click your pic. alter the compression level for better quality (but higher file size).
