I have an background image.
And I want to make it kind of alpha,so basically i want to make the background a little transparent like.
How do I do this for my page?

I use Adobe Photoshop.
I have a background size 800x600.
The background color is white.
And in the background there are different people standing,different logo etc…
Now I want to make the whole background kind of alpha…transparent.
So when people come to my site they get to see the background but only e bit transparent.
Open your image on PS, group all layers* in a single layer above the background layer, on the layers window select the grouped layer and set the alpha for this layuer at your will, then flatten all layers and save.
*[SIZE=1]hide the backgroud layer (click in the eye on the left of it), select the layer on the top of all others and press ctrl+E till all layers (except the bg layer) are grouped together.[/SIZE]

its better to select back layer and to add some brightness
thats better and more effective if he wants for guests to see litleBit background
And remember to save as a png file… if it’s a big file that is, if it’s just a background for a site or sumthin’ small, save as gif
