Hi All,
I have created a banner today in Flash 8 that uses the text-rendering only supported in Flash Player 8 and above. (For good legibility at small sizes.) When the banner plays in a player below 8 the text does not display at all.
How can i detect the users flash player version and display alternative content if the player is before 8? The script needs to be contained inside the banner as it will be used on third party sites.
