can u make a barrier without using tiles?

ye no it games that r made with tiles?
iv tried loads of tutorials but i cant make it work
i want 2 no if u can make a game without tiles that scrolls as u move and if u touch the floor thenu dont fall throught it and it u touch a wall u dont walk through it
you can use hitTest on a floor for art based games…but i’d really recommend you re-reading tutorials for tile based games…
