Blurry fonts "That ol' chessnut"

I am having a lot of trouble trying to get crisp fonts in Flash MX.

I know about the whole integer placement ordeal and have chosen Sevenet as my subject…

I’ve posted a thread up at Flashkit.

I do not want to repeat myself so the problem up to the current state of madness is explained through the above link.

My problem is great (and has bruised my knuckles) so any help would be more than greatfully appreciated.

I had a squizz as it goes (it’s how I came to find the site).

I’m afraid to say it wasn’t much help. I don’t know why I’m having so many problems. Current solution (over on Flash kit) is me hoping that someone more knowledgable than myself will be able to lok at my work and show me the error of my ways (FLA’s posted up on Flashkit).

Though from the size of this thread puts across the feel of a small problem this has actually consumed and entire evening (now a WASTED evening) and caused me to bruise my knuckles.

This really has given me quite a lot of grief. I’m no expert but I’m hardly a Flash newbie either so to come up against such a trivial and well documented problem and not be able to fix it makes me very angry. As I said above, I’m hoping that someone can help me out directly and stop me wasting another bloody night on such a stupid problem.

Please view the Flashkit forum for more info’ sorry I haven’t brought the info’ over myself but I can’t afford to spend any more bloody on getting annoyed by this problem. Even this post has made me frown.

Well, I guess nobody is up to the challenge then (says Nooby hoping to bait somebody into lending a hand).

Seriously though, sorry to put this post back to the top, I won’t do it again. It’s just that any help would probably mean the difference between a grade.

Please at least take the time to read the thread at Flashkit, I am desparate for help as I cannot proceed with my current plans if this problem can’t be resolved.

It’s also frustrating me to the point of distraction. Stupid really, it’s such a trivial problem but it’s really infuriating and takes up more space in my thoughts than it should.
