I’ve been searching for a new performance Taylormade Burner Superfast Fairway Wood to replace an older model Callaway. I hit this driver at least 20-25 yards further and my mis-hits go farther and straighter. I already had purchased the g-15 irons so this completes the set and I’m very pleased.
Yesterday I traded in my NIKE Victory Red Forged WedgeBurner 9.5 stiff for a G15 9.0 with the Ping regular shaft. (I have a naturally high-lofted shot with all clubs ergo the 9 degree.) I played my first round with the [url=http://www.ourdiscountgolf.com/Discount-Callaway-Razr-Hawk-Fairway-Wood-1157.html]Callaway Razr Hawk Fairway Wood today and there is simply no comparison. To start with, I prefer the G15’s more traditional head shape and taller face over the TM’s more elongated shape and shorter face, but that’s a personal preference I suppose. There is no comparison, however, in sound and feel…the [url=http://www.ourdiscountgolf.com/Discount-Ping-G15-Driver-868.html]Ping G15 Driveris nothing short of exquisite; the TM always had a high pitched tinny sound and generated vibration to the grip even on good shots…I found it to be a fatiguing club. Further, the G15 is a wonderfully balanced…like butter at address…and seems to be quite forgiving. I can’t say yet whether this club plays longer than the Burner based on one round in the windy highlands, but it certainly inspires confidence. Distance is overrated anyway. It doesn’t hurt that this driver has the same qualitative characteristics of the G15 irons which I own and love. Everything you’ve read about this is club is true, in my opinion.
After reading all the reviews from the men, I had to add one for the ladies. I purchased the g15 10.5 loft about two months Mizuno MP 53 Irons ago and LOVE IT. It has added at least 20 yds to my drives and it’s nice to get my drives landing in the same place as the guys who are teeing up behind me. Again, a very forgiving club for the mis****s; they still fly a good distance and stay straight. I’m thinking about getting the irons
