Breaking apart text

when i break apart text for some reason it keeps filling in letters, i.e. O’s become filled circles… This is happening with a few different fonts that i tried, including a pixel font i downloaded… Does anyone know how i can stop/avoid this?

Currently using standard text boxes, font size is multiples of 8, positioning is on whole numbers…

The fill appears after the second break apart.

try making the font bigger (really big even). I think its a matter of approximation for Flash where at smaller sizes it tends to pay less attention in detail and you get artifacts such as that showing up.

how big? i tried 80 and it still did it :frowning: plus i need the pixel fonts to be small heh
