I am an artist and am in the process of building a website to display some of my work. I know basic html and a little bit about flash. My goal is to build a very simple / minimalist image gallery. I would like the image gallery to be a sequence of images which are displayed one at a time. Each image would would be accompanied by a small amount of unique text that would change with the image. The user would cycle through the images with forward and backward arrows located bellow the image.
I have tried to go through some of the kirupa tutorials to get what I want but i have had no luck. I have tried this tutorial :http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/photogallery.htm . This is the type of gallery I am looking to build but i need to know how to add the dynamic text that would change with the images.
If anyone could share any resources, advice, or information which would allow me to create the type of gallery I have described I would greatly appreciate it.
