Hi,
I am familiar with writing basic html and have basic understanding of css. Enough to get single static pages up and running.
But I’m looking for a single reference tutorial, book, anything that will show you how to build a site like iWeb does for instance on Macs. One that can update when new content is posted, one that will auto update links and update the front page.
All I want is something that shows me how to build a simple yet elegant design upon which I can improv.
I have access to Dreamweaver, but have not taken up learning it because of lack of good single resource. Something that looks at the big picture.
If anyone can write a tutorial, I would even be glad to pay for it… I have gone through to many resources that focus on little things, individual things, single static page sites. My strength is animation and film work. I simply dont have the time to piece random web tutorials together, but I do want to learn to manage a site on my own.
I appreaciate any advice.
