Sup All—So I am finally after all these years building a new machine. My dinosaur that I built in college is finally starting to die out. No more memory patches, upgrades etc … 
Anyway—I am rejoicing because in 2 weeks bells and whistles will whirl!

[/SIZE]**[SIZE=1]I have an older 320g IDE HD that I will be making a slave HD. Already have a dvd-r drive.
[SIZE=2]My question is—Windows XP 64-bit or Vista 64-bit?[/SIZE]
What will utilize the ram better? XP or Vista?
*Side note: Went with the DDR2 800 ram to save a few bucks vs. the 1066. Plus with this motherboard, I would have to flash it to run 1066 ram. Not the end of the world, but just saving a few bucks.
My budget is 1000.00. This goes over by $60.00. If anybody has anything to suggest or add let me know. 
edit: I’ve always been a nVidia & AMD kind of guy. Suggesting intel or ATI isn’t out of the question, but more than likely I won’t lean towards that direction. haha
