site setup: i have aprox. 20 buttons
objection: when i roll over one of the buttons, they all go to alpha 85% from 20%
i cant figure out how to do that…
please help!!!
more info: all the buttons are set up sorta like a chessboard, but spread out a bit…and at the beginniing, they are all at an alpha of 20%, and when i have a mouse roll over on one of the buttons, i want all of the buttons to go to an alfa of 85%…
The simplest thing off the top of my head would be to put all the buttons into one movie clip, then set the opacity of the clip and alter it via AS on a button rollover…

is there a script i can use that will make the alpha go from 20% to 85% in steps…???
well i would suggest embeding buttons into seperate movie clips
check out lostinbeta’s function, it controls alpha with as, i found this technique very very useful
