Button problem ... help?

ive bin trying to figure this out for the past week b4 postin ive remade this like 3 times make trying to make sure i dont fu(k up, incase i added sum action sum where and cant find it but still no gud, :puzzle: its realy startin to stress me guys and i cant take stress i go crazy literaly neways

its ment to be v2 of my site ive basicly got it all down apart from content and these blasted buttons, thats wont work, ive bin playin around with it for the past 2 hours so its a lil messy but i wonder if u guys could take a look cos i cant realy explane wats going off init. :puzzle:

just add this code to all your buttons changing the frame number and it will work just fine

on (release) {
_root.gotoAndStop(1);
}

_root refers to the the root level of your time line, like the main level. if you had had a button in a mc, and you wanted it to go to the first frame, if you placed the actions:

 gotoAndStop(1);

it would tell that mc to go to frame 1, but if you wanted the main time line to go to frame 1, you would use:

 _root.gotoAndStop(1);

macneilsit…that was a wonderful explanation of _root…i wish someone had described it like that to me a year ago…people are so afraid of _root, but i think if you really understand it, its not that bad. cheers
