Buttons in movie clip to work

I’m trying to get a button to work in a movie clip. But for some reason it does not work. Does anyone know if you can’t do this? I have to make a website for my senior interactive project and I’m not that advance to do it all in one. I don’t want to jump to different sense to pull it off. I will put my fla file to show you want I’m doing and hopefully I will get an answer for this and maybe a better way to do it.
