Buttons to scroll a dynamic loaded text

okay I did the TUT. on Creating a text scroller but the thing is i want the buttons to scroll a dynamic loaded text.

I put in all the action on the buttons and on the dynamic text like it say on the TUT. and the problem is that it wont scroll the dynamic text. The text shows but the buttons don’t work.

Can someone tell me what i did wrong or if its possible to do it.

I didn’t do the action for the varible because i wanted to use the dynamic loaded text.

i did do that TUT. but the things I only want the buttons to scroll i dont want the whole scroll bar. thats why i used both TUT. and see if it was possible for me to combine them and i guess its not . If some one can still help me that would be cool.

Well its a little hard to help without knowing more about your fla. If you want post it so we can have a look. Or describe the scene with the action script your using.

Its possible you havent properly targeted your textbox. It is possible by the way.

If your sure you’ve done everything right, then please post your fla so we can see.

I havent seen the tutorials so if i’m repeating sorry. Try putting the dynamic text box in a MC and use a mask layer to show a portion of the textbox. Then use the buttons to move the MC.

I would like to say thank you to evrybody that helped me out but i have to say i figured it out all by my self. First time doing that and it felt good but this doesn’t mean I wont need your help in the future.
