I have a kiosk project wher I need to create an interactive that will provide all of the usual information to a user, however I need it to talk to (send data) to an exteranl device which controls other devices. For instance, after a user is done viewing information they click a button that sends a codeword out to a switching device which will turn on that the particular device selected by the user. Several devices a featured on the presentation and the “switching device” will do all of the work. I just need Flash to send a codeword when the user selects something. Can this be done? Even if I have to use another program as a conduit… any suggestions?
