Can some1 fix this?

i seen sites and this is something im looking for and what does teleporting mean? and this thing im having trouble with thnx

OK here goes nothing:

  1. Make the background a movieclip and label it “background”
  2. Make sure the movieclip background is stopped at the first frame
  3. Add more backgrounds in the movieclip, you can make as many as you want
  4. Add this script to your character (the teleporting must already been done

onClipEvent (enterFrame) {
if (this._x > 550) {
tellTarget ("_root.background") {
nextFrame();
}
}
if (this._x < 0) {
tellTarget ("_root.background") {
prevFrame();
}
}
}

what does teleporting mean and if i have to do the thing to my char.where i move him around and then the code works and the codes not working cause I no im doing something wrong and cause som1 do what i posted and the site was newgrounds andcan som1 test this out

start by unquoting the “_root.background”

whaaaaat? youre asking what is teleporting in flash? there is no such thing as teleporting in flash actionscript maybe u r talking about an effect that looks like teleporting but thats another thing
