i was just wondering why this has happened.
I’ve just got a new host and uploaded my site into a folder (called atreyu) in the root folder. Now in the ‘atreyu’ folder are all the files to go with my site including a ‘php’ folder containing a menu which i include in every page within the atreyu folder using php. So for each link on the menu page the link would be ‘…/news.php’ yeh? to get you out of the folder back to the atreyu folder…but on my new host, the links jump back to the root folder instead of the atreyu folder. I really don’t get this cause i used to work just fine on my old host set up exactly the same way. i’ve changed all the links to ‘./index.php’ and so on, including the images that are linked the same but now it wont show on my computer when im editing in dreamweaver.
can anyone explain this? thanks:h:
