Can someone help me with buttons pleasssseee

I’ve been thinking about my buttons for weeks now and I can’t seem to find away so that the viewer of my site will know if a particular button have been view already… u know what I mean… website changes the color of their buttons when it was already click by the viewer…my problem is how to have addition state for my button…at first I’d tried to make a movieclip button but I still don’t know how to actionscript and tell the moviedclip that if the button is already been pressed go to previously viewed frames… PLEEEEEASEEE! HELP
