cant get stupid freakin “download shockwave” button to work on my site
It works on all my other sites?? I have looked at the html code with dreamweaver mx but dont see the problem help…
what do you mean it doesn’t work? when i click it, it takes me to MM’s site?

do you have any idea why an image will not display on an “index” page but if the same page is renamed “index2” the image is displayed? I renamed my index page index2.html and the image displays. The premissions on both pages are the same.
Try deleting your temporary internet files and refreshing the page. You might be caching the old version?

is there any special code that goes on a “index.html” page that would be the problem or some setting in dreamweaver mx for your index pages?
nope. index and default are just pages that are defined by the browser as “look for this page and display it if its there”. index is apache, default is iis … by default.
I’ve tried to view your page but am unable to resolve it.
it has to be something related to the page name "index.html"
because i upload a page called index2.html which displayed the graphic. when I renamed the the page index.html the graphic wont display???
is there a setting in dw mx that keeps jpg or gif files from displaying
