Cash for scripts?

So, Digibyss needs an actionscript for some already-made graphics, vaguely speaking, it would include a circle that will follow the mouse, yet stay in parimeter of a slightly larger circle, and exhibit a few random ticks and movements… the inner circle will then need to vary in size from time to time. (full details later)

about how much would this script cost?

if you are placing an offer:

1/3 cash upfront, rest on completion, which is standard for freelance work, it’s how we get paid by our clients.

if the job is done well, and at reasonable price, it WILL guarantee future scripts for $$ as well. (almost immediately)

I’m looking for a talented young scripter, you work when you want, as long as the jobs are done well and on time, $$ is absolute, of course ! (it will be on a script by script basis), but I will have to check you out, and this first script will be a very good way to do that.

drop a post here, or at anytime drop me an email at:

There are many talented coders here and most of them would code for free if you post the questions here.

hmmm that USED to be the case, but LOOK! Money!!! No more freebies after this!

haha well in your case, you DEFINITELY need to be paid for your coding skills. :stuck_out_tongue:

I sent an e-mail. It doesn’t hurt to try. I actually sent two e-mails because this computer is stupid. I can’t wait to be on my real machine…

:stuck_out_tongue: theres something insanely funny about that comment

lol well Outlook is messed up, and it kept saying that it couldn’t connect to my server, so I tried again, and then again, it didn’t work, but kept different e-mails for the different tries in the Outbox, and then when it did connect, it sent all of them. Now its 3 total… I HATE THIS COMPUTER!!

Ok Jeff, I recieved your email, and checked out your work, nice stuff, you didn’t mention if this little script is in your bounds (I’m sure it is) nor how much you would charge for such a thing.

Since no one is mentioning fees, I will propose this:

This first will be the TEST script. Whoever I pick to take this on, I will pay $35 dollars (u.s.) you will have to get a pay-pal account or the equivelant, so you can take money from me online.
You will need to post the resulting FLA on your server space, this is legitamate, i don’t want to see the script until you are finished, and paid, but I will need to see the result, so that in a couple emails we will discuss it and get it looking proper. Then I pay you, script goes to me, and we make sure it’s implemented into the page properly.

After this, I will have 6 scripts, some simpler than this first, that will need immediate implementation. So we will work out the deal after this first one. I enjoy working with people online, and this is for a special project with many more to follow.

The whole point of this is to find someone who will wish to have more jobs, ranging from smaller to larger than this first script, if all works out well along the way, you will have the chance to team up with another designer and work on an entire page’s script, so you better think in physics, and dream in actionscript, heh, heh.

Now, all that said, send me your online work example links, I will pick someone by Monday, March 17th. So don’t hesitate, let’s get this going!

GL Jubba

Can you be more specific about the details for the first script? And I can get it to you Sunday night…

Well, I have a script where eyes follow the mouse, but are contained within a smaller circle. Disregard the design because it was quick. Like I said I am away from my computer that has all my programs on it, this is just something that I have online, and I made it like a year ago or soemthing…

The way you exlpained it, the only thing I can really picture is something similar to that, where the eye is following the mouse and is contained within the larger circle… Not really sure what you meant by “exhibit a few random ticks and movements”

that confused me a bit…

Nooo…How come everyone stoppet explaining how they do? I need to have a tut, that explains exactly that stuff…HELP ME…!
