here goes dynamic masked text thread number 1 million.
I have no hair to pull out anymore, and I’ve searched through the rest and found nothing that would solve this.
my cdata tags in xml will not show up in the dynamic text box. all the text besides that does. it is all dynamic, it works when not masked, I am using setMask function, I have embedded the fonts, set html tags, set the text to htmlText. I figure it has to be my xml file, it looks like this:

I figured out that it has to do woth the text boxes I am loading into, not the xml, or the actionscript. I got it to work but I have no idea why, any light would be greatly appreciated. should I not embed the font? totally stumped.
