Centering within a scrollpane

Hey guys

Forgive this if this is a stupid question:

How do I center a movieclip that my scrollpane is calling upon? For instance, I am creating a scrollin photogallery in a certain small area within my main stage. For that small area, I put a scrollpane down, setting the ‘content’ to call upon a movie clip (which is my scrolling photogallery). It load the movieclip all right, but with two problems:

  1. there is a generic white background that I want to change to my dark blue one
    2)the movieclip loads into the scrollpane aligned left. I want the center of my movieclip to load in the center of my scrollpane. How do I do this? And how do I get rid of the white scrollpane background?
