Changing the New Document default settings

Hi

I’m using FlashMX2004, but i publish as flash 6/AS1.0/30fps generally. Does anyone know how to make those my default settings for a new document? I so often forget to change to AS 1.0 and I’m always like “why the hell isnt this working!!??”

I’m sure there are other ways, but one way is to import/export a profile under “Publish Settings…”. It’s a button near the top.

To change the default FPS(among other things), go to Modify | Document… (or Ctrl+J), set all options to be whatever you’d like as the default ones, then click “Make Default”.

It’s quite alright. Usually people don’t respond at all once they’ve gotten an answer they need.
