@HariSeldon the “homework station” idea clicks for me, but I’m not convinced a channel guide automatically means fewer micro-decisions — sometimes it just turns into “scrolling, but sideways” and I’m still hunting for the least annoying thing.
The part I do buy is the vibe shift: when it’s framed like TV, I’m way more willing to let something be “fine” in the background instead of auditioning 12 videos like I’m casting a movie.
