hey guys, i’ve got 2 questions regarding clearInterval.
first: i’ve got the slideshow (sbeener’s code) and placed the setInterval at the end (found scottys posting on this regard), it all works just fine BUT, what i need to do now is to stop the slideshow after i hit 1 specific button which is inside a movie clip in the main timeline. now, where in heavens do i place the code for the clearInterval, and do i have to give the setInterval an id? where do i do that in the code. i’ve been reading all the postings here but i cant figure it out!

the second question is basically the same but instead of using a button inside a movie clip is it possible to do it from a link in an externally loaded text? i dont know if this is pushing it lol
one of the observations id like to make is that my main timeline is just 1 frame long - it has several mcs inside a main one - i dont know if this has anything to do with it.
