Click and Hit area in action script 2

Hi all,

I am a flash newbie and just signed up to Kirupa forum, hope to get help for my school project. Basically I intent to create a quiz which tested users on map location. I already figure out quite a long time but I have no idea about action script. I wish to do the following:

  1. It is a malaysia map which there are buttons in each state (14 states, 14 buttons).
  2. The 14 states’ names will be shown randomly in order to test user
  3. For example, if “Sarawak” text appear, user able to click on the state on map correctly, a simple animation (such as a flag drops on the correctly clicked Sarawak state on map); else an error message will be show “Please try again!”
  4. Next, user may proceed to the next remaining states unil all 14 states r completely tested.

I really appreciate if I can get help because I am really struggling here for a week already. Thanks a lot…
