Clueless here

[FONT=verdana, arial, helvetica][SIZE=2]I have two problems, that are uniquely related…in my app there are tabs on the side of the viewing area that contain tools, such as an accordion with lists, print/switch modes, and a minimap…the problems rest with the first tab which contains an accordion…

The first problem: when you click an exhibitor in the list, the map zooms and pans to center that booth and places a target in the top left corner…that works fine, but when an exhibitor rents multiple booths (for example Brewster Red) the map zooms and pans to show both booths, then places two targets in each top left corner of the booth…but one of the booths (the left one) appears below the tab when it is extended…but the target appears on top of the accordion…this is not right…how do I place the target on top of the booths but below the accordion? (the targets are being placed using attachMovie and I tried swap depths which works fine until you try to select another exhibitor)…

The second problem is with the accordion itself…the tabs are supposed to retract when the user’s mouse is not on top of them…and that works (sort of)…the accordion tabs seem to take up space even though they are not visible…what happens is that when you are looking at the first or second tab in the accordion (exhibitor list or booth list) the tab containing the accordion extends down well past the tools tab and into the minimap tab area…so if you move the mouse down past the edge of the tab containing the accordion…it does not disappear…also if you try to expand the tools tab when all the tabs are closed…the exhibitor list tab opens as well…this does not happen when you are looking at the last tab (Category List)…as it would be expanded within the exhibitor list tab…and it would not go past its edges…

I know this is really hard to understand, but it will all come together when you see what I mean…
