I am freaking out over Pantone…
maybe I am not understanding it correctly and I will definately search the boards when I throw out this shout…
WHY… is Pantone so different… can some one tell me. They claim that these are very spacific color ranges the STANDARD for checking colors yet I see plenty of room for error… examples

139 pantone solid coated in Photoshop is #B67000
but if you go here…

the pantone color for ‘earth’= 139 is #AF7505.
I have to say I am feeling a bit disapointed…
