After i graduated with "Abitur", i emigrated out to New York. Since i´ve played a lot of competitive chess, i got to know players, who successfully started playing poker. After a lot of skepsis (is it a "skill game", are the sites "rigged" etc) i started to deposit and play. In the beginning i learned a lot, but eventually i began to stagnate, until i reached a big milestone. I had 3000$ on my account, when my neighbour visited me and asked if i could show him how to play. After declining and telling him i´m tired, he convinced me to start some play money games. I opened some 10-20NL tables and couldnt wait to show him how i can outplay all those newbies;).j It worked out quite well and i quickly ran it up to 20.000$ . As i was getting more tired i went blindly all in every hand until i lost everything - i mean, you can´t buy anything from play money, right?! . Well, getting up the next day, i thought that i´m still half asleep, since my balance showed me 0,03$. The conspiracy theories with hackers, government and whatever didnt turn out to be a good explanation. It took me a whopping half hour to realise what had happened the last night. The reader might already know it. After having a long frustrated shower, i took my last $500 and pledged to myself that i will not give up and fight myself back into the games. 4 weeks later i was lucky enough to win the tournament leader board (on pokerstars) and the following heads up match versus Tom McEvoy. This was the time where i decided to "go pro". What i like about poker is the enormous psychological pressure and the strategic part of the game. 'Poker' has realized many dreams for me like travelling the world. In my spare time i love to play endlessly piano for relaxation. I also like to do endurance and action sports (Triathlon, Tennis, Soccer,Ski) with friends. Alongside playing poker, i´d like to keep on learning more languages and studying philosophy.]]></tabDetails>

I would like to load up an Event’s players and the players ID

var test = "ID= " + xmlList..event[0].players.player.@name;

. compare the two, and load the relative players. Does anyone know of a good tutorial I can follow (or can someone help me out themselves)?
