Compile error from cs3 file to cs4

I am trying to load a file into flash cs4 that was created in flash cs3. The file is from a site that explains how to make a slideshow. When I load it I get all sorts of errors. I tried other files and got the same problem. One error said that the variable arguments were wrong. Thanks for your help.
