I think one thing lacking on the site is a Tutorial on building Components in AS 2.0. It would be really helpful if someone could write a tutorial on it and as an example make a simple scroll bar. I have seen a tutorial at person13.com but its not really easy to follow. Anyone up for it? :moustache
not easy to follow??!! of course it’s not easy to follow. components are some of the more complex things to not only modify but create in Flash. most of the grand restructuring between mx and mx 2004 was on components. i suggest going thru that person13 tutorial again as well as going to ultrashock.com --> tutorials --> mx2004.
then after you’re done with those go to the macromedia.com website and go thru the tutorials on components there.
those are the best tutorials on components out there.
