Hi,
I know this topic isn’t something that cannot be answered in a boolean manner; nonetheless, I’ll try to explain clearly the situation so maybe some people may contribute and help me make up my mind.
The project that needs to be developed is a strategic race game (not realtime). The interface is divided between the maps (trajectories, vehicles,…) and the User Interface components. Races can be different, however the interface remains pretty much the same, excepted for one or two modules. I’ll be using pureMVC to build this app.
My question is, is there a significant improvment in using a deployment structure containing several swfs, vs one big swf? Of course there is a gain in the download process by the browser, but can I also expect a better ratio for code execution, for example? Is it considered good practice in modular applications?
Thanks in advance for your answers…
