Im making a flash banner for a site. But i cant exceed 36 Kb. Any good advice here. Im going to have a picture and some animations.
What is the best file format to put in flash?

What do you mean by best file format ? for pictures, better use jpeg, or you can do your banner with vector graphic only (lighter)
I mean, should i put an comprimated jpg in the flash file, then it will be comprimated again, or should i pit a uncomprimated picture in the flash file and do all the comprimating in flash?
compress your picture in photoshop, when you import in flash, check the publish parameter for the jpeg quality, also right click you image in the library and choose “use imported jpeg data”, you can also uncheck “allow smoothing” test your movie to see the quality
