Hi Kirupa folk - this place rawks!
I’ve been racking my brain for the past few days and searching these forums and the answer still hasn’t come to me… I’m hoping one of you brilliant people out there can help…
I did the XML image gallery tutorial here and then added the thumbnails (http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx2004/thumbnails.htm). It all works great and I’m loving it. But then, as it appears many people b4 me too, started to think about making the images resize etc.
Now I’ve seen the sticky’s in ‘Best of Kirupa’ and all of the thumbnails and resizing and stuff there, and the thread where it all apperas to have stemmed from too (great stuff BTW!), and I’m trying to apply it to the gallery like I’ve made from the tutorial but they are quite different. The way they call the xml and stuff.
Basically, I either need to find out how to add my thumnails (a la ‘adding thumbnails tutorial’) to the xml of the image resizing, or simply figure out what code I need out of the MovieClip.prototype.resizeMe stuff. I have been trying different combinations of both and it’s still not working. Needless-to-say, I’m feeling quite frustrated 
and slightly stupid
There didn’t seem to be anything about this on the forums either… Maybe it was always referring to another image gallery tutorial in the first place but doesn’t match up…
