Continuous motion

Hi Flashers

I am currently using Flash MX and would like to know how I can create continuous movement of a light ray pattern expanding outwards and outwards…

Have a look at the pic…what I basically want to do is to give the perception that the light rays are moving outwards or there is some sort of outward movement in them…I tried doing it through scaling the image to 130% on one layer while applying the same effect to the duplicate layer with the alpha set to 0% at the end…but the effect doesnt come out properly, one gets the perception that the image is moving back and forth…instead of just moving towards the viewer…Pls. advice on how to solve this problem…

Thanks in advance…

is the effect on the background image something like you want to do???

thats a cool site…and done by a 15 year old none the less.

put half the lines on one layer and the other half on another, rotate the layers to different times. This could be done with AS so you don’t have to have a “loop” point as such.
