Control sound on an embed movie

Hey All!

I’m having a horrible problem trying to mute the sound on an embed movie.
I work on a flash banner, with an embed video.

I would like the sound to be audible on rollOver, and off on rollOut, and have a link on it

I tried putting a transparent movie clip on a layer above the video, and put in the AS, but nothing seems to get it done!

How can i deal with that!
Can my movie clip set the general movie sound to 0 or 100?

thanks for your help!

… or you can use fusekit with fusefx to fade in/out the volume also

Ummm… for a Banner AD?

FuseKit + FuseFX = bigger than most banner add requirements (like 30+K in an empty swf). Also why would you need FuseFX to tween sound ? Plus why would you want to bloat and complicate things like that anyway when simpler solutions abound as expressed in this thread and else where.

Pier25, you seriously need to uninstall FuseKit, back a way from your computer and try some other things. Your really locked in with a FuseKit mindset man. Are you the PR representative for FuseKit?

Also you mentioned in your tween thread you were gonna report back on Tweenlite etc… what are your thoughts? You never went back an reponded in your thread. http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?&t=296156
