Hi, new to the forums but hoping you guys can help…i have a nested movie file with a bunch of different icons, each pertaining to a different sport (it’s a scoreboard that can be updated by typing in a text file on the server which gets imported to the swf) i’ve gotten the text to import to the swf file no problem, but what i want to do is give whoever updates the text file the ability to change the icon in the swf by displaying a specific frame in the nested movie (ie: if its a football score, itll show the football icon, etc)
any thoughts?
(i’m using as2 in flash cs3 on osx, and go easy because im much more of a artist/designer than a programmer :-\
