Hey everyone,
So Ive been put in charge of leading the transition for my company from Flash 8 to Flash CS3. As a coder, I rejoice using AS3, but since I’m the main flash guy (it’s all I use at work) and all the other designers only use flash occasionally, I’m having a hard time convincing them to use AS3 FLA’s!
They all want to use AS2 publish settings so they can still have their on(release) and code directly on buttons, etc.
What are my arguements…? What would you say?
They, not being coders, do not understand…and apparently neither do I because I can’t come up with many reasons.
ps. We don’t do anything super complicated. Never any external classes or anything like that.
