I don’t know if it counts as art but www.photoshopcontest.com has some really neat stuff. It is fun to compete. Try it out. It really helps add to your portfolio becasue it gives u a place to start.

Ya we do have a drawing and design forum here. THe random is more for spam and such. If you are looking for something useful Random is not hte place to be(-:
Maybe a mod will move this thread so you can get more posts. Most of the art ppl never coem into random.

Um… Look at the first thread in this forum. Lost has very kindly posted a whole shedload of most excellent links for budding artists. 
Ya but this thread was started in Random so he probably never saw that sticky. And i think that sticky was made after this thread was. That new thread is sweet. There are so many great links there.
EDIT Ok that sticky was already there. I too hadn’t seen it yet either untill a couple of days ago
