I’m a bit of beginner when it comes to actionscript so please bear with me on this one!
I’d like to use this countdown script: http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/countdown.htm to prevent my flash movie from being viewed before a certain time and date has been reached.
[COLOR=black]I’d like it to use the Server time but I cannot use PHP to request it as our website runs on asp.net. A colleague thinks he can pull the date in in another way but he needs to know what sort of date format the output needs to be in so that he can attempt to match it in visual basic.[/COLOR]
Can anyone help with this?
Also I don’t really need the countdown to display using images - although that looks good I only really need it displayed as text but I can’t even figure out how to change the script to do that!? So any help with that bit will also be appreciated!
