Hi i just made the basic Flash Animation
it was the Flash MX sigh going across the background with circles on it.
i was wondering how do i make my end product into a small bow because when i open it it is bi and takes up the whole screen?

You have to define the size of your scene first. To do so, click anywhere on the scene (not on an object, and open the Properties panel. You should see something like 550*400, click it and you can change it.
When you preview it, it looks big because Flash tries to fill the whole page. To prevent that, publish it in HTML (File > publish settings).
