I’d like to have a high score list for some of my games, but I have no idea how to go about it. All I’d like is a link to a good tutorial on the subject, you don’t have to explain the whole thing yourself (unless you want to?).
Problem is I’ve only been able to find one good tutorial on the subject (here at flashkit) but that one doesn’t work for me as it always comes up with an error. When it comes to doing the first test, it should reveal a scores table according to the tutorial, but instead it shows this:
"Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home2/dxintera/public_html/scores.php on line 9"
The only reason I can think of is that my webhost isn’t PHP4 active. I have never done any sort of php or any server side scripting before so if you know of any other good tutorials, or know how to fix the problem with the other tutorial, please sing out.
