I want to create something similar to an e-book in flash and am in the initial planning stages, was wondering if ye guys could help out with a few initial roadblocks. 
Each page of the e-book may have:
- Audio samples
- Text information
- Video clip
Now each page may or may not have any of the above mentioned three media. All the information will be controlled using variables (paths to audio and video files) and text information.
The final version of the e-book will be an executable projector file which will run off a CD-ROM. The text files will be stored in a separate director maybe /content on the CD.
The problem that I am facing is that anyone can then simply change the information in the text file and customise the e-book for themseleves. Is there a way I can prevent that from happening? I can make the files hidden on the cd-rom and stuff, but that amounts to nothing. Can I password protect the folder or is there anyway that I can use flash to do something similar? :sigh:

I don’t know any php and stuff, but that wont be usefull because its a projector running off a CD-ROm anyway.
