I’ve got a bitmap in Flash that I need to control with actionscript, but within Flash it seems that I can only create MovieClips to hold this graphic.
Is there a way I can create a pure DisplayObject in Flash since I do not need any of the extra resources or weight that comes with a MovieClip?
