Cross browser class/function for innerHTML?

is there a good function(s) that does the same as object.innerHTML=“bla”; but crossbrowser proof that uses the dom WC3 logica?

i hed one that is called innerXHTML but it doesnt work in IE7 very good…

So any help?:ear:
